100 Campaign Grant for Black Mental Health Services: Breakthrough
for February 3, 2021
We are excited to announce our 2nd 100 Campaign Recipient: Breakthrough!
Thanks to our generous donor community, Breakthrough is receiving a $5,600 grant towards Mental Health Services in the Black Community. These funds will help 150 women in the East Garfield Park neighborhood of Chicago receive mental health services and support in 2021.
The ultimate goal of Breakthrough’s Behavioral Health program is to help men and women who are experiencing homelessness improve self-management skills. They provide on-site access to medical and mental health care, trauma-informed care, and resources for developing healthy behaviors.
