Julian King

 

Julian is a hospitality industry veteran with over 20 years of restaurant management experience. He has operated restaurants of all levels of service and is currently the managing partner of Blue Pineapple Hospitality Group. Before Blue Pineapple, Julian began putting his stamp on Austin, Texas. He opened Comedor, a world-class restaurant, as General Manager, and implemented systems to ensure the long-term success of the restaurant. Comedor won Top 10 New Restaurants from Esquire magazine, The Robb Report, Texas Monthly, and Austin Monthly. He then moved to VIA313 as Director of Operations during their transition to a fast-growth company under the guidance of the Savory Management Group. Before Austin, Julian developed restaurants in Atlanta, Los Angeles, New York, and Boston.

Julian has a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration, regarded as the premier hospitality business program in the world. An Atlanta native, Julian enjoys all Atlanta sports, as well as staying active himself. You can find him running, cycling, and swimming during his free time.
