Lauren Johnson and her husband Aaron are new to the Legacy Collective community, having
just joined as Investors this past month. “I love the idea of people coming together for the
greater good,” says Lauren.

They’re particularly passionate about women’s and children’s issues. “I believe that so many
problems our world faces can be avoided by empowering women and giving children a healthy
and happy childhood,” says Lauren.

Lauren and Aaron live in northwest Indiana, about 45 minutes from Chicago, and are parents to
an 11-year-old daughter and an 8-year-old son. They love cheering for their favorite teams, the
White Sox and the Bears.

Lauren got hooked this past year on Legacy Collective’s podcast, “Elevating Their Impact”
hosted by Legacy CEO Erin Arnheim and her longtime friend, Candace Collins. “2020 was a hard
year and the podcast was an informative, uplifting, and inspiring addition to the uneasiness that
last year brought,” says Lauren.

She also enjoys the podcast “Lazy Genius” by Kendra Adachi, saying that it feels like you are
hanging out with a friend who gives really great advice, and Lauren loves that the focus of the
podcast is to “be a genius about the things that matter and lazy about the things that don’t.”

Of the Legacy grants given in the past, the Johnsons were particularly interested in the grants to
Help One Now and the Miracle Foundation.

Thank you to the Johnsons and welcome to the Legacy Collective family!
