Organizations can activate a turn-key CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) program through Legacy Collective’s City Giving Circle. Our City Giving Circle allows access for companies & individuals to securely and easily fund grants for a wide variety of Atlanta non-profits in need of support. Legacy Collective provides oversight of financial accountability, facilitates grant distribution and reports on use of funds, so that organizations can give with confidence, knowing their donations are going to those in need.

Centered around 48-hour hackathon-style events, 48in48 connects local nonprofits with skilled marketing and technology professionals. At the end of these 48 hours, 48 local nonprofits have new, professional, websites. Along with their new website, the nonprofits also receive a fresh marketing strategy and professional training. With a boost from skilled professionals, these nonprofits increase their impact and reach.

Atlanta Habitat for Humanity transforms communities by acting as a catalyst for neighborhood revitalization through education, innovative development, partnerships, and long-term relationships with families. Beloved Atlanta
BeLoved Atlanta is addressing the problem of sex trafficking in Atlanta. The organization supports women escaping human trafficking in Georgia by providing safe homes and therapeutic strategies. Their residential and restoration programs are designed to equip women with the power to create a new path in life. BeLoved Atlanta is a registered 501c3 non-profit and has been helping women escape the sex industry in Georgia since 2012.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Atlanta
Established in 1960, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta creates and supports one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. Their vision is that all youth achieve their full potential. They fulfill this mission through community, school and workplace-based mentoring programs. Since their founding, they have served 75,000 children with supportive relationships.
CHRIS 180
CHRIS 180 helps children, young adults and families who have experienced trauma change the direction of their lives to become more productive, self-sufficient members of the community. They do this through mental health counseling, training, providing safe housing and real-world skill building. CHRIS 180’s goal is to help those they serve build resiliency to overcome life’s challenges.

Hands on Atlanta
Hands On Atlanta mobilizes the Atlanta community to tackle the city’s most pressing needs. From fighting food insecurity to supporting students across Title 1 public schools, Hands On Atlanta annually engages 20,000 volunteers across their trusted, robust network of nonprofit and school partners to do something good. From plug and play group volunteering opportunities to creating completely customizable civic engagement experiences for convention attendees, they offer fun and impactful solutions to do something good.

Meals on Wheels Atlanta
Meals On Wheels Atlanta (MOWA) was founded in 1965 to support seniors struggling with poverty, food insecurity and social isolation. Over more than 50 years, they have grown from a small soup kitchen to an organization serving more than 600,000 meals each year throughout the Atlanta area. They have also expanded our program offerings to respond to other critical needs in our community, and now offer multiple services to support both older adults and veterans, including home-delivered and congregate meals, home repair services and a food pantry for both seniors and their pets.

Next Gen closes the opportunity gap for under-resourced students in Atlanta through exposure and support. Next Gen provides Atlanta youth with regular exposure to career pathways, professionals, work environments and personalized support in the form of Teachers and College Mentors.
Second Helpings Atlanta
Second Helpings Atlanta is a nonprofit food rescue organization whose mission is to reduce hunger and food waste in the Metro Atlanta area by rescuing healthy, nutritious, surplus food and distributing it to those in need. The food we rescue every day gets diverted from landfills and is used to feed those in need, making Atlanta a more environmentally responsible metropolitan area.

If payment is made by check, the 5% credit card processing fee will be waived, and 90% of your donation will benefit the nonprofits selected.
Instructions for Meeting Planners
You can choose to have your funding 1) go to one of the above listed nonprofits, 2) divided amongst multiple nonprofits, or 3) if you have other local nonprofits you’d like to support, Legacy Collective will be happy to vet the organizations for you. When building your event registration portal, you can add an option for attendees to manually enter a specific dollar amount to the Atlanta City Giving Circle, or you can pre-fill the giving amount and allow attendees to opt in, or you can leave this out of your registration process and choose to simply donate a specific amount directly to the Atlanta City Giving Circle.
Once your registration period has closed, you can either send Legacy Collective a check, wire, or ACH payment with a letter indicating which of the organizations you would like to receive the funding, or you can pay online with a credit card under your organization and let us know by email where the funding should be allocated. Credit card payments incur a 5% processing fee, to avoid the 5% processing fee and have 90% of your donation benefit the nonprofits selected, please email citygiving@legacycollective.org for instructions to pay by check, ACH or wire transfer.
You can also choose to make this an interactive experience at your event by highlighting the nonprofits and allowing your attendees to vote on the recipients of the funding.
Legacy will then issue the grants and follow up with impact reporting to let you know how the funds were used!

What are the Admin & Operational Costs?
Admin and operational costs include Credit Card Fees,
Receipting, System Maintenance, Web Hosting, Grant Administration,
Project Vetting, Merchant costs, Administrative Support, etc.
How are the Funds Managed?
Legacy Collective has established a Donor Advised Fund with Pure Charity (a nonprofit organization) that will assist in the financial accountability, grant administration, and financial reporting. All Legacy Collective members will have visibility to the disbursement of grants and special project funds via their Member Dashboard, and Legacy Collective will produce an Annual Report reporting financial activity.
